Why not start the New Year with a new post? By now you know that Desmond has pretty much decided that he's going to take one for the whole team because he knows that it all started with him. Noble as that might be…it will eventually turn the political machine on its ear.

I'm impressed you managed to pick this back up after an extended break. My dad had to teach flat out criminals in his class, and they should have been expelled. They made learning impossible for other students and forced their teachers to be wardens. Public schools are sadly lax in their punishments when they actually matter.

You know the one thing I'm bummed about is that somehow, I lost ALL of my trophies. I'm hoping that I can get them all back. To your point about public schools, it's a system that is itching to be fixed for a long time. The running story in the background for BLNT is the school system. As I continue to draw, you'll see tons of themes come up. I've written the "Bible" for this comic to last through middle school. Some tweaks to keep it current. I just need to draw them out. Thanks as always for hanging in there.

Some people use "expelled" and "suspended" as if they mean the same thing. They don't. I think Desmond is out the door for a very extended period of time.

You're absolutely right. But I'll tell you this, how Desmond gets out of this one will be almost otherworldly.
