One of the rituals in the EU that has survived into the time of Giselle is that each individual European country or its language must be honored on official occasions. Thus, for all goods, the important information must be reproduced in all languages, and the president of the EU Commission, even if she is allowed to give a speech in her mother tongue, must greet all individual nations in their respective languages.
