This is a beautiful page. I would love to have a lesson on how you color. I haven't dappled with the layers function at all and so far I only know how to color and shade with the water colors function.
Yes, thank you for the info! I wish we were neighbors and I could come over and create some art/stories with you. I would learn A LOT from you and greatly improve as an artist.
It was a bit of an overkill for me back in the day, where I would place a shading (Multiply) layer on top of every individual color and another seperate Normal layer (using the color white) for contrast. I wished I remembered which brushes I used back then. I was SO much more experimentative back then.
Pretty much just used the Blending brush for the shades and created some "Add(Glow)" layers to the eyes, shiny objects, or if I want a bright light to really pop out of the screen.
By the time I finished a page, I had like fifty to a hundred layers depending on how much was on the page.
Hope this was of some help!

Of course, all this information is assuming you use Clip Studio Paint. I still wish I knew how to use more techniques available in that app.
