Is Reiko really on Toshubi's side? Or is she just using him to get what she wants? That's the problem I've always had with females… you never really know what they're planning in thier heads, till it's too late.
Responces:
Lance Danger: Being a nice guy ain't easy is it?
StarKitty: Ah, but you manipulate the wrong ones and trouble will find you. Yes it will. (Done in a Yoda like voice.)
Timlight: Thanks fer the 5.
Ickus: Thank you for apologizing.
Lord of the Games: I think Ickus was giving you her take on the story. And given the apology... I don't think she ment any harm.
Ickus: Thus far Toshubi has pretty much been reduced to a rodent with nothing to lose. Toshubi has what he calls, "Justified prejudice", To Toshubi, the only good feline is a dead one. Does this make him an evil irrational killer? I personaly don't think so.
Toshubi has more than just the Emperor on his "to do" list. If Toshubi succeeds with his plans, the Feline Empire will be without more than just it's emperor.
Toshubi is in a way a lot like me. (Minus the ninja part.) He can be flexable when he has to be, but will put his foot down on anything that he feels strongy for or aganst.
But I do like the quote you used to end your comment.
Ickus: (Boy you're here a-lot.) Um... uh... Yeeah... Pass!
Sandy: Yes sometimes they are... but every once in a while you find a gal who isn't into the head games. That's the kind of girl you want to hold on to.
Raziel: (Sigh) It's not easy being the hero.
Sakura: Ok, ok, put the salt down now. :)
Dockworker: Actually, I've never bothered to look. Hrmm... I have something to do now.
Draco: Are you sure?
Lord of the Games: Well... Before I can tone down Toshubi's hatred for felines, Toshubi would have to have a pleasant experience involving felines. Unfortunatly all of Toshubi's experiences with felines have been filled with blood shed and death.
But there is something new in Toshubi's shattered life, Jessica. Maybe with a little luck this little bovine could be a guiding light in which Toshubi can stagger himself back to sanity. But you do have a point, The longer you stare into the abyss, the more it stares back into you.
Joff: Brings new meaning to, "Sly like a fox" eh?
ConfusedSoul: Damn! I got ripped off! My ex only used a regular straw!
Dragonki: Thanks fer the 5.
Kali: I didn't know how else to show he was walking away.
Rubygem: Thanks fer the 5.
Jillyfoo: Thanks fer the 5.
Custard Trout: Sometimes the line between hero and villian gets crossed.
Adariel: Thanks fer the 5.
Rmcool: We all have our weaknesses.
Kail: Heh... you just admitted you do it. Heh..
Byakko: Heh... you too! Heh...
Error: Thanks fer the 5.
Ickus: But is there an alternate motive to her request?
Hogan: Sounds like you've been there and done that too eh?
Animegal: As long as those powers are used for good, I guess it's ok.
MagicalM: Yeah, he can be a softy at times.
Faithie: Perhaps she needs to refine her "little bitch kung fu"? :)
Thanks for all your comments and/or 5's!!
>lordofthegames: I don't have a problem with your opinion, and I'm sorry if it came accross that way. Yes, I have a different take on the story (and a lot of free time at work). But those differances are what makes it interesting. :)
>lordofthegames: Again, I think you are missinterperating the story.
Up untill this last few hours (story time), Toshubi has had nothing to keep him going but his rage. He is a classic embodyment of one who has lost everything, friends, livelyhood, and family; AND he's lost them violently, at the hands of another race. The all consuming rage is the fire that keeps him going.
His desire is not for "justice" in a logical sense. He doesn't want to bring the felines to to task for their actions aginst all rodents. He want's to strike back at those whom he hold responsible for the deaths of his family.
He feels that by killing the Feline Emperor, he will have avenged the deaths of his wife and son and secondairily removed the source of the orders for the felines to invade the rodent territories. A "symbolic decapatation" of the feline emipre.
He is wiling to give his life for his "personal" cause. Untill recently meeting Betsy, the only thing he had to live for was the death of his enemies. Now that she has been taken from him, by the same enemies, his anger burns even stronger.
What he doesn't realize is the the Emperor is only a figurehead. While killing him will achieve his main goal (killing the emperor) it won't stop the feline troops or change their goals. If anything it will make them be that much harsher and more brutal in their actions.
Toshubi hates the felines because they've taken every thing he ever cared about from him. He doesn't really think/see that he needs, could benefit from or even use help from anyone else. For him, vengance is very personal.
Yes, there is a line between justice and as you put it "BLIND, UNRELENTING MADNESS." Toshubi is far beyonde that line.
There are may differances between Toshubi and Kohi, Lamkia, and Toh. Their motivations are vastly different. Yes, and in many ways they are a lot alike. It's a matter of perspective. What is good, what isn't? Who is a hero?
One persons terriorist is anothers hero.
> confusedsoul: Actually, I find sucking their (males)brains out through something *else* to me much more effective.
hmm.. perhaps I souldn't say it like that as I know my bf reads this as well. Of course, it's always polite to return said brain when finished. :)
great, as usual, but you might wanna tone down Toshubi's hatred for the Felines a TAD bit for 2 reasons:
1. it'll make an alliance with Corporal MUCH easier, if that happens (i know I'm like a broken record on that, but i can TOTALLY see that happening)
2. there is really a fine line between a desire to bring justice for the death of the innocent, and BLIND, UNRELENTING MADNESS.
seriously, I'm concerned that Tosh's hatred for the Felines may drive him to insanity, making him no better then Kohi, Lamiko, or Toh
"you never really know what they're planning in thier heads, till it's too late."
AND THEN THEY SUCK YOUR BRAIN OUT OF YOUR EAR WITH A CURLY STRAW.
Well, maybe thats just me.
I could say something about that but I won't. ;)
Hm... well, sometimes the enemies of my enemy are at least my allies.
Toshubi, it can't hurt to use her help at the moment.

I think she's just being caniving and trying to get on Toshubi's good side to get what she desires. Sometimes girls are like that.
