I love improvising. i love to see how the day's page acquires the day's mood, and otherwise they would have been something completely different. you know? when i'm at work i'm brainstorming all time about what'll happen on the following page, and i arrive to pretty nice ideas, but when i finally sit to draw, other ideas show up. i somehow feel like the comic has a life and a soul of its own, and i'm just here to fulfill its desire. i know it all sounds a little conflicting, but the point is, i love getting surprised at the twists in my own comic. even in a crappy comic like the current one.
To those that just happened to stop by and have no idea of the contest i'm holding, get some info here. you might be interested if you're a writer:

Exactly Shao. Sometimes I find my characters doin something i didn't tell them to do, but i guess it's because they are gaining their own personality along the story, and the moment comes when they don't obey the artist will anymore. i can even feel that in this lousy comic of mine, to which i'm not giving that much importance cause i'm just using to practise, as i said 1 and 1000 times already.

I know exactly how you feel, zero. I often see my character's from my comic coming to life and making their own story within the one they're already in. it's really nice to take part of.
