Believe it or not, but I WOULD send a cash donation.

Or you could just make a refrigerator magnet with Boxdog on it and send the artist a small cash donation along with your thanks for creating such a lovable and heart-warming, and yet depressing and pitiable character.
There's a chance Boxdog was planned to die.
I mean, she was made just to be this horribly depressing character. Hey, sorta reminds me of those Christian Child Fund comeercials. Let's donate to Boxdog, everyone!
They'll send us a picture of her for us to hang on our fridges.

May I present a bit of factual data for your consideration?
If we examine the timestamps from the final thread of the Boxdog 'saga', we find that Boxdog begins to bleed at 12:27:50 AM on Friday, January 19th, 2007.
The first comic in this series was posted, according to DrunkDuck.com, on January 18th, 2007, with no timestamp.
Now, how could the author of this comic know Boxdog's fate before she ever got into the tub and began bleeding? Indeed, there is at least a half hour discrepancy between the two Boxdog sources. Of course, we must take into consideration timezones and perhaps inaccurate date recording by either drunkduck.com or the original Boxdog threads.
However, I believe the facts speak for themselves. In my opinion, the timestamps are indisputable proof that this is the real, original, and genuine Boxdog.
If anyone has a counter-argument, I would like to hear it, as I would like to discern if this is the real Boxdog or not.

ha... I just saw that someone else posted it on an earlier page of the comic. Here it is anyways, for those who did not see it on the earlier page.
For those of you who don't know where this comes from, I did some internet mining and found this gem of an archive. It is the entire known story of Boxdog before this comic strip. For those who recognize this, I am NOT breaking rules 1 and 2 by doing this. The public must know; even if somehow I am breaking the rules of 1 and 2, it is worth it.
Mourn Boxdog and her abysmally torturous life, and hope that somehow, she is happier wherever she is now.
Agreed, the twin virtues of win and catharsis are strong in this strip.
Also: what a polite rodent, which Scrimmage is invariably going to demand that Boxdog kills.
