The Cartridge Goes Where The Sun Don't Shine

My mother and I were supposed to watch a movie, tonight. She told me “this will take five minutes” as she set up her tiny photo-printer. 20 minutes went by. “Has it worked, yet?” “No.” I take a good, long shower. “Has it worked, yet?” “I can't figure out how to plug it in.” I make dinner. “Have you plugged it in, yet?” “No. I can't find the right cord.” I drew this picture. A cry of anguish emanates from the office. My mother comes out looking flustered. “I can't figure the thing out!” “So, you're FINALLY giving up?” “…. Yeah.” My mother glances at me in a sad, dejected way. We watched the movie and had a fight afterwards.
