Won't Die In The House

Willie and some other brats,
Ate up all the Rough-on-Rats
Father said, as mother cried;
Don't worry dear,
They'll die outside!
~Harry Graham, Ruthless Rhymes for Heartless Homes
A little context to this update! Rough on Rats was an arsenic-based rat poison that boasted that the rats “Won't Die in the House” which I guess if you're gonna be a rat-murderer, the stench of your deed is not something you want haunting you!

It’s supposed to make them bleed all their fluids from every orifice so they will be super thirsty and apparently run outside for a drink. In modern times they run into the kitchen and die dramatically in front of your date (who will still eat the sushi you made her even though she had to take care of the vermin because you cried).
