Fan-Friction

Cameron pleads with Lockheart to sign a few things, and she agrees. However, when she begins to talk about what she's seen from fans that's not to her liking, Cameron's work mysteriously goes missing.
Fan-work, I think everyone has done this at one point or another, especially if your a nerdy person. I think everyone has written a bad fanfiction, or a bad piece of art in either quality or content. But its something that goes hand in hand with the work, and regardless of content in a way it is an expression of love for the characters/series. I can even understand the mindset of erotic art and fanfiction, its complicated but it's helping people in some form and really isn't hurting anyone. I always joke with my friends that “the second there's rule 34 of my work, I'll know I've made it.” That being said I'd never like to have deliberately seen anything like that, like don't send me anything of that nature please. If I find it its one thing, but If it's sent to me it's sort of like receiving porn photos of your own children.
But humor aside, we live in a fantastic age of creative communication. Artists and fans can communicate in a way like never before, and its actually shaping how cartoons are being presented. Adventure time and My Little Pony are two examples of fans effecting something that would be featured or utilized in the program. Derpy Hooves being the biggest example, also Adventure Times gender swap ep. It's fantastic and I hope one day to be able to experience such a fantastic experience of working with fans and live feedback.
Lastly I might not be posting next Friday…why? Because I'm putting heavy work into episode 50. I don't want to go into great detail…but…it's going to be.,.SO AWESOME.
Check out our FB page for updates about it…it'll be sweet. See ya next time.
