9/28/2010 - Not Feeling So Hot
chriscomic on Sept. 27, 2010
Sorry, everyone. Just not really feeling all that well. Stomach feels bleh and my joints ache so I just did a one panel deal tonight.
That's not to say that I'm going to short change everyone though! I decided I'd share a comic with everyone tonight from my previous webcomic, “Mitch and Sven.” Mitch and Sven was a goofy comic by me and my best friend, Mikhail, starring ourselves, where we would just have fun adventures.
This strip in particular is my personal favorite, because it showcases a personal dream of mine.
In all honesty, my original idea was to just post this comic up, explain it, and call it a day. But I thought that would be cheating, not to mention I'm currently using a totally different style right now for my diary comic. Also, it's colored. Heh. :P
I'd love to be able to fly :) I've loved airplanes ever since I was little, and have always been fascinated with flying. Oddly enough, the only time I've ever been on a plane was when my wife and I went on our honeymoon to Disney World a few years ago (and she was awesome enough to let me have the window seat to and from!!). I was absolutely THRILLED the entire flight haha. Still, if I could afford it, I'd totally get my pilot's license and buy a Cessna.
I hope you guys enjoyed today's bonus comic, just don't go off expecting me to go off and color all my strips now heh. I'm still getting the hang of drawing everything consistently in *this* style right now! Once I get it down and can whip these comics out like they're nothing, I'll consider it ;)

Yessir, I'm working off a laptop. :) I used to have a nice desktop with a 22" widescreen monitor that I enjoyed using for my artwork, but the motherboard ended up getting fried. So now I'm reduced to using this tiny thing while my nice big monitor collects dust hahaha. It's okay though, I suppose I'm just used to using the laptop by now. :)

Understand that... I've found there is no short cut - even a "static" comic takes time. BTW - are you creating on a laptop? I figure you're younger than me - but that would be hard for me to work a webcomic on a laptop. I need the big screen (easier on my eyes!)
