This one might look a bit different…possibly darker. I'm using a different computer to do my comic work than the one I normally use and the screen is lighter–more washed out looking. So to compensate for that, I adjusted the opacity normally used for COW. (Made it darker, but hopefully not overly much so.) And I'm also using a new version of the GIMP…-_- I had held out doing that for so long because of my sheer stubbornness, but now I've updated. It has made SOME things easier, but most of it I'm still getting used to. (So I'm working slightly slower than usual.) Just when I get used to the GIMP, they go an' change it on me! ;p (ah well.)
I still haven't made that buffer yet.

The HELL?!?! What happened to the rest of my comment?!?! *AAAARRRGGHH!* >:( Dammit...-_- Ok, let me repeat myself since this freakin' thing keeps cutting me off! Antcomics: I'm glad the punchline worked, since I hadda write and RE-write it about a gazillion times! *I over exaggerate* ;) Nigbun: Well, if worse comes to worser, I know what fillers to do! (my sister's been getting after me to draw the characters with their families.) ^_^ But hopefully that buffer will work out and actually come to happen as you said. =D And as always...thank you each and everyone for reading my comics. ^_^' *this had better not cut me off again* -_-

Steely Gaze: Actually, you're right! I don't notice a jarring difference...*as I feared I might* ;) GTLB: Thanks--it's amazing how these characters grew from nothing! XD (also, Ned is fun to draw.) Antcomics: *LOL* XD I gotta watch where I put my word bubbles--talking flowers! (this sounds like a story arc in the making...) *has the shifty eyes*

The buffer will happen, eventually LOL (I hope - I wouldn't want you to have to end up posting fillers just like miserable ol' me :P ) I like that last panel, it made me lol~

I said it before and I will say it again--anyone who can make a skeleton boy have facial expressions is a pro in my book. LOL--in panel three I thought, at first, that the flower was talking...this is pre-coffee me talking y'understand. I like the punchline, it was really funny!

I have to agree with Steely.. Ned is awesome. :)
Steely Gaze at 6:04AM, Jan. 30, 2008
Actually this looks about the same to my untrained eyes, although I am beginning to love the new word bubble-style you got going on here. Also, Ned is awesome! He's actually smiling in that last panel! Can anyone really argue that he's the best character out of a cast of great characters?
