One problem I have with weekly web comics, I feel a pacing that normally works in comics doesn't work over several days or a week. Makes me wonder if I should cram panels in or allow the work to extend if it does so naturally.

its hard to find a healthy balance. but its all part of developing your craft. take that as you may. I think you are doing quite well.

I recently thought exactly the same thing with both of my comics. Instead of single pages, I now post scenes. It takes longer, but I think it is way better to read a bunch of pages together.

Good stuff, and I've been wrestling with the delivery thang recently. I'm going to throw in with Dave on this one, as I always do. He's a Comic Sage, y'know!

You did a good job with the flame and smoke :)

My view (for what worth!) is to write for the story, not the delivery method. If you artificially force the pacing to suit the page-at-a-time format, it won't read as it should when someone reads it through as a complete story. Eventually you'll have a finished work and then, whether someone reads it on the web or in print will make no difference. Okay - that's my two-penn'orth!
