Ha! A new scene, a new colour theme and introducing a brand new character: il Capitano - the captain. He is a Commedia dell'Arte character, but I doubt the “real” Capitano was very much like mine.
The greatest challenge of this page was of course panel two. I wanted to show what kind of place we're at, and so I wanted the panel to contain 1) people drinking 2) women with little clothes on and 3) if possible people involved in a fight. I drew the panel several times, and finally I even managed to squeeze the fight into it.
I have also begun to spend more time on the colours. Perhaps you notice…
Well, there is one more important thing I would like to tell you about this page.
I think it's a bit boring to sit alone at my desk at home and draw. Especially as the only things I need when drawing are my pencils and a paper, all which are portable. Of course I also need some sort of table.
Well, the point is I have built my own mobile drawing board! My quest is to walk around in the world and find interesting locations where I can draw my comic pages. That would also give me something interesting to tell you about in my comments.
This page was drawn in the main library of Gothenburg (where I live, and that's in Sweden in case you didn't know), in an underground train station and finally in my school library. That day in the school library it was a terrible storm, and loads of water was blown in from the sea. After a little while two out of three of the school's exits were blocked by water, and it was close I didn't make it home! There's an adventure!
Another idea I have is to figure out a system to somehow take photos of were I draw the pages and show them here… We'll see about that.
Phew, that was a long comment!

Book 1: Easy to read; all the framework conditions are really fast installed; classical, funny, light-footed, yet very emotional story; sharpened iconic characters - good stuff. Book 2: You have improved much. Yeah.

I love this page. I love Il Capitano, he looks extremely evil. I love the humour. I don't love that we still don't know the name of Jester-girl >.

Hi everyone! Here comes some replies: Legos on the Floor: Thank you for that joke! That's exactly the kind of feeling I wanted you to get from The Captain's! Niccea: Yeah, that's right. He doesn't really need and office. And it's probably not entierly legal anyway...

And where will you be drawing next...? It's an adventure! *lol* ^_^ (that should certainly be interesting.) Also, you're doing very well with the color job, I DID happen to notice that you seem to be doing more with colors/shading. I like the Capitano, he looks like a fun new bad guy. =D

Ooh nice page! I like the mobile drawing board idea. That sounds cool. Can't wait to hear about what new exciting place you'll be drawing at next! ^o^

Lovely page. "Welcome to The Captain's! We hope you will enjoy your time working with us. Here is the uniform you will be required to wear during working hours... belt? No, no, that's your shirt!" ...Sorry, couldn't help it. That drawing location thing sounds fun. Perhaps you could enlist an accomplice to photograph you, but it might get boring for them to stick around the enire time you're drawing...
