Mysterious Beginnings

We decided to add some changes to our characters and changed our art style a little bit. We combined a little bit of anime with modern cartoon to make it look somewhat better. Takeshi probably went through the most drastic change, we hope you like it. Feel free give us your opinion on the changes and the comic, and also what you would like to see in the future.

This was an odd strip for me to start reading on, but it sure caught my attention! I love random humor.

Haha! Pssh, trust me, you're at exactly where I was six months ago. Im not even kidding. Do whatever you want man, even use the talking couch if you want! Besides, I only use my tablet for coloring, and most of that I could do with the mouse anyway. :)

Awesome, we would love to do a guest comic for you also. If there is anything you would like us to focus on, feel free to tell us. Unfortunately, we do not have a tablet, so the illustrations will be nowhere as good as yours is.

Well, lesse, I've got a few projects on my plate right now, a couple of pin-ups for people, a special christmas comic, and my regular comics, but I should probably be able to hash out a basic one for ya sometime soon. :D

Yeah, it looks great. Trust me, it takes quite a while for you to get a handle on your characters. Trust me, I know. Zak and Dane went through about 5 or 6 incarnations before we settled on a design, and just look how much they have changed in the last 10 strips! :) But seriously, it looks great. So, when are you going to let me do a guest comic for you?

After reviewing our characters and also comparing our style to our Secret Santa present, we realized that it was lacking. Derrick looked to be bald with a discoloring on his scalp and Takeshi looked like he had wings for hair. So we made Derrick's head small and made Takeshi look more asian by changing his hair style a little. Glad you liked it man.

Llama fetish eh? Hmm, thats an interesting one. I like the style change, more of a fusion type. Thats a cool one. Your expressions are getting better too, like Takeshi's in the last panel is priceless. So, what sparked this idea for change eh?
