The “3-P.I.G.S.” came from an idea that I had for creating a team of super-heroes and their arch-enemies around the idea of the story of the “Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf.”

Thus the heroes became the “Plutonium Irradiated Good-Guy Swine” and the villains became “W.U.L.F.” - the “World Urban League of Felony,” and the story became something of a battle between the protection of the heroes rural homestead, and the villains goal of destroying them and their land. The big ruthless urban villains vs, the humble rural heroes.

“Groundshaker” came about from an old idea for a completely different concept that I repurposed to make a much different singular character. The original idea was for there to be multiple giant mutant bear creatures called “Groundshakers” that would be used by completely different villains to hunt other heroes. However, I didn't like that idea very much, and when I had this other character who was a mutant space-pirate by the name of “Southpaw,” it all just kind of came together since that guy was a bear, and so was this character concept. So, I thought why not just make them brothers and one guy could have a mechanical left hand, and the other guy could have a mechanical right foot! Genius! Plus, when it came time to fill out the roster for W.U.L.F. this guy just seemed like I could write a story for him to make him fit in much better with them then I could with anyone else. Thus, he became their resident smuggler for their contraband.

I'd like to also point out that both this guy, and his brother are from the pirate planet Reva, however, that planet does not necessarily have a native population of a race of bear-mutants such as the two of them. Therefore, it is possible for them to be natives of that planet, but their kind is actually from somewhere else. Their kind's true planet of origin, and place of origin on that planet, being unrevealed at this time.
