He has trouble sleeping because his eye glow reflects off his eyelids. XD But in all seriousness, I just finished a safety training at work and in terms of alertness and response, there's actually an equation that translates sleep deprivation into BAC (blood alcohol content). If you lose enough sleep time over successive days without recovering it, you basically become "drunk."

Just ....SLEEP????? WHAT the....I ...hell I remember the baby days. all I wanted to do was sleep, too, after dealing with my new born .every two-three hours that dude was up and crying! All I wanted...was sleep!
