Government guidelines and armed forces regulations forbid the use of the word “vampire” in official documents and public speech, substituting a more neutral term “metahuman” instead. Vampires are technically also prohibited to call ordinary humans “mortals”, “cattle” and such, but the official term “basics” (from “baseline human”) is not that much better.
