Drunk Duck Awards 2011: The finalists have been announced (here) and we are very happy to say that CROSSOVERKILL has been nominated for Best Community Project and Best Sci-fi comic - thank you to everyone who nominated us! We'll keep you appraised of developments. It should also be noted that some of the CROSSOVERKILL contributing comics have been nominated too: Bad Guy High for the Best Action/Parody/Superhero and Completed Comic catagories; Fusion for Best Superhero Comic and Magellan (the DD mirror version) for Best Plot Development. I'd say it's herself, Energize, Majestic Knight, and Mindmistress. This is based on decorum: Fusion is obviously green and has a lot to learn, Yuuki is too hotheaded and Captain Perfect is too vain. This may com with some prejudice on her part as to how heroes should act (after all, Ranger Bill is still a recognized hero in her universe) and heaven knows the four mentioned have their flaws. But I understand where she's coming from. In a situation like his, you need a cool, level head amongst all, or else you can make catastrophic results.
well, technically speaking there are only 4 officially recognized heroes in the group: fusion, majestic knight, hoodoo, and captain perfect. though that mainly has to do with the fact that in mindmistress's universe as well as yuuki's there aren't hero agencies. though on the other hand yuuki was in fact chosen to be a hero like figure, unlike MM, and fusion is still being assessed. so if she isn't talking about age, then MM is definitively being insulted right now (which i doubt).
