Mr. Fantastic both mainstream (Earth 616)and Ultimate would be Reed however I cannot figure out who Vic is other than someone who has both a mainstream Marvel (Earth 616) and Ultimate counterpart. Then there is Brainiac 5 from the DC's Legion of Superheros in the 31'st century.
What, the delay? NONE of us wanted to do it while the Crossover Wars were running. There was a real danger of giving the readers Crossover Burnout, or something.
Not too bad for a character who's mentally disadvantaged much of the day...
I actually drew this and the next page over a year ago (yeah, we've been planning this at least that long, actually before the Crossover Wars started) but didn't see any real reason to redraw it. My art style has evolved a little since then, and some later pages will reflect that.
Al's word balloons don't always point directly the person talking. In this particular case, though, just keep in mind that all of Mindmistress' dialog has eliptical balloons, whereas the voice's are more squared.
We had an interesting problem with the archive when Remus added the splash page from the last update. Drunk Duck has this really annoying bug that makes it impossible to change the comic image file assigned to a particular comic date after it's already been uploaded. We either had to assign Remus' splash page a day other than last Tuesday, or we had to erase everything after Remus' first page and upload everything again. We ended up doing the latter, and we were all fairly annoyed by that.
And this came on the heels of my telling everyone how awesome Drunk Duck is. I found myself scrambling for excuses, explaining that this trouble has only been a recent problem and that usually Drunk Duck is far more user-friendly than it appears to be at the moment.
It is. Honest!

I would say that disembodied voices out of nowhere are bad for EVERYBODY... so the voices in my head tell me...
