Another page by Ben of POINT GUARDIAN, as we see Ultra of that selfsame comic first meet Ringo. Remember, Ringo said there were some realities where he was called “Ringo” before he was christened that by our group. All of this will have a direct bearing on the storyline that's ongoing.

Chronologically, this takes place during the assembly of the Gathering, most likely before our heroes even show up. It's not as obvious from this stand-alone comic, but if you glance back at [url=http://www.webcomicsnation.com/alschroeder/flickerflame/series.php?view=archive&chapter=32994#strip5]an other page from months past[/url], you'll see that Ultra is the one introducing Flickerflame to the yet-to-be-named Ringo. Strangely enough, even before being given the name, he seems acutely aware that he shares one of his aliases with a drummer, even though that's not exactly the etymology that he gives to Dasien. Ah, I love keeping track of continuity.
