Y'know, I'd like to see a story in which Dasien narrates it, since she IS a journalist. I bet her prose is real spare, like Hemingway. Or a toned-down Norman Mailer. Sinewy. Her personality would seem to dictate it.

It's actually right up Das' ally, being a journalist and all, but still, she often such a funny character that you tend to forget that educated part of her persona.
