Ataxim has been playing a silent role in the story since they got to the prison–the collars just extended his range.
Ultra's powers are mostly telekinetic, as are Debbie's, but two different flavors. He mostly uses it the way the early nineties' Superboy did—for flying, for protection, for amplifying his blows. (Plus some vision powers that might be him speeding up molecules, causing heat.) Debbie basically lifts things with her mind, with those crazy dark tendrils she uses.
I suppose technically his hair should turn dark as Ataxim de-powers Ultra, but that's been inconsistent up to now, and I'd rather not recolor the pages, so we'll just give that one a pass.
Algeya: Ultra's pretty far up there: as evidenced in his own comic,POINT GUARDIAN, he's more of a Superman/Sentry type--or perhaps Alan Moore's Marvelman/Miracleman would be closer to the mark. (Supermannish/Captain Marvel being actually using telekinesis to accomplish his feats.) I'm not sure if he's stronger than Das or the Green Avenger, but he's definitely AS strong, and he has a "Super-Sayen" phase to boot.
I think SuperDAN could take him down, but then SuperDan has the ridiculously absurd power level of the Silver Age Superman.
I'm not so sure I agree about the others--Lightbringer has different powers from the others, Mindmistress can do illusions and has a protective field, etc., ANT seems the most agile. Yeah, Das and the Green Avenger are pretty evenly matched, but past that...
That's often a pitfall of "team" books that draw their members from seperate series. In Avengers #2, for instance, every member had super-strength except WASP, they just had varying degrees of same. The early Justice League had three speedsters (Superman, Flash, and Wonder Woman) and three superstrong members (J'Onn, Superman, and Wonder Woman). FF and the Legion, on the other hand, could create characters who solely fill in gaps for the team, but would be...odd...on their own. (One has trouble seeing a Mr. Fantastic solo book, or a Bouncing Boy one, or Matter-Eater Lad.)
all the heroes in this team seems to have similar powers there isnt a long range heavy hitter
all of them seems to excel in close combat with some low/mid super strength (enougth to lift a car)
I hope ultra gives them a little more variety

Hmm... can't remember, can Ataxim drain armors too? Like MM's or ANT's?
