Sent in my Fukujinzuke, author of Omega Justice and SHELL, this rendition of Dasien in a catsuit is based on our April Fool's Day sprite comic. The joke being that Mario had that cute tanooki suit from Super Mario Bros. 3, so therefore, if Dasien ever had her own video game, then one power-up would simply have to be a cat suit! Makes perfect sense, doesn't it?!
Anyway, the comic was only up but a few hours before this one graced my inbox. I guess when people want to see cheesecake, they don't mess around. I'm sure I haven't heard the last of this, either. We'll see if anyone else is inspired.
Another thing that may have caught your eye in this page is that Mindmistress has even donned some stripperiffic battle wear. The situation defies explanation. What did she do, lose a bet? Did Das beat her in thumb wrestling? How did this happen? The world is left to wonder.
And last but not least, you really need to be reading Dan's Bad Guy High Adventures, since his first storyline is not only related to the events of the Crossoverlord, but chronologically it plugs into the story right about where we are in Crossoverlord right now.
If you didn't really like racoons, you should've taken the OTHER natural shapeshifter prankster: the fox!
Am I the only one who got a mental image of GA in a fox suit with that statement?
goodness, MM looks like she's trying to cover herself up with something...anything. either that, or she just found out that her psyche-staff was transmogrified into a marital aid, and she's hiding THAT.
Well, of course you can make it whatever you may want, but I just wanted to make it storycally correct.
I don't know what this means. All I can tell you is that the catsuit Das is a much more GENERAL gag and has nothing to do with what the tanooki suit means in Japan. Keep in mind that while I'm familiar with these things, I generally write for a western audience, not for people emersed in Japanese folklore. If I really wanted to do that, I would have made her a fox.
Also, how do you do quotations on comments?
Forum tags. They work as comment tags, too.
Well, of course you can make it whatever you may want, but I just wanted to make it storycally correct. Also, Mario is a japanese game, you know, and it's definitely a racoon. That's why he transforms into a statue. Of sorts.

Hahahaha! Closet nympho? Hey, maybe THAT'S why she's always picking on Das for her costume! You know how that works. Nudge nudge... Wink wink...
LOL! cool fan page, MM should have been blushing, she would have been, I think instead of looking coy. Or maybe this is displaying a secret desire of hers O_______O

Um... no. You're reading WAY too much into this.
My only remark about the tanooki suit was that it was a randomly cute costume in a video game, and a cat suit would be an appropriate variation for Das. I know about raccoons and foxes being shapeshifters in Japanese lore (I've seen plenty of Rumiko Takahashi cartoons), but this has nothing to do with that.
The gag was about a randomly cute power-up item in a video game. Nothing more.
But the tanooki suit is a racoon! It's suppossed to be a japanese mith about racoons being natural shapeshifters that play pranks on unwary travelers.

Well, MM HAS appeared nude and near-nude before, like here and just covered in mud, nothing else, here---but yeah, Fukujinzuke better watch his back. It may take both Shell AND Omega Justice to protect him from MM's ire.
Although personally, _I_ thought he did a GREAT job...
