Page 55 may seem a little tongue-in-cheek, but I never claimed to be a saint! Be sure to vote for Cru the Dwarf at TWC (if you're old enough :P) and at Buzz Comix with the button below the comment form. I owe you guys a special 2 million pageviews comic soon so keep an eye out for it.
PS Check out Cru the Dwarf's new blog The Inner Sanctum. It's the other half of that big ass banner with the TopWebComics incentive preview.
EDIT: I removed the link to that blog since the guy is obviously a professional troll like someone had said before. Just leave him be on his 200 hits-per-day site and let it fade into obscurity. The only way he's going to go away is if we leave him alone like a mosquito bite.
Just checked up on our old friend Kevin Huxford. Seems a few years back he was temporarily homeless and his old landlord ransacked his place and took whatever was of value to pay for what he owed in back rent. Karma is a bitch, isn't it, Kevin? Douchebag.
I love it when people play Internet Superhero. Captain Copyright should grab his bait and tackle, trek on down to Giveafuck River and catch himself some Carefish because I'm fresh out.
Thatâs It! I nominate Kevin Huxford as for Douche Bag Net Troll of the Year! All in favor?
Then again, why keep his hopes of attention and more hits on his site alive. If he never got attention growing up - not our collective problem ;) Remove the link, Cru! More Cru and Big Ta Ta's!! That will instill the SCH**** amnesia I need and crave!!!

Just to let you know, this Kevin Huxford is a real douchebag. He's basically a professional internet troll, and he will make trouble for you if he can. He's best known for attacking comics and television writer marc Guggenheim on Newsaram back in the day. Huxford is a big supporter of Unions, though he knows about as much about them as he does copyright law. That didn't stop him from attacking Guggenehim and ultimately reporting him to the Writer's Guild for an imagined infraction when Guggenheim inadvertently hurt Huxford's very fragile feelings.
The fun starts near the bottom of the page here when Huxford shows up and begins pontificating about his principles, it's pretty entertaining, but some of Huxford's more inane and incendiary comments have been deleted it appears. Anyways, enjoy the spectacle as a delusional loser gets his feelings hurt and tries (unsuccessfully) to hurt a better man's career.

Having more people visit your site just to read how ridiculous your claim sounds and to argue against you isn't something one should be thankful for.
But yes, I have a larger amount of readers whose number I hope will continue to grow exponentially until all are infected with Cruitis.
Cru, he's just using you to get HIS TRAFFIC up. Look as his stats, since you started responding to him his hits have doubled. Looks like he was only getting a few hundred hits a day before this. Compared to your comic which is getting 12 to 26 THOUSAND unique hits (one of the big reasons I've run ads on here).
Besides, he even admits he LIKES the comic, he just has his own OPINION on the copyright thing. A lot of have a different opinion but that's all it really is, opinions.
Considering Blizz had actually PROMOTED fans using screenshots, I'd say they've made their position clear. :D
Someone else tell Kevin Huxford that he needs to get off his high horse and just stop arguing about the copyright thing.
Just because I can't draw out the comic doesn't mean I'm not an artist or give me the obligation to find someone who CAN draw so I don't feel like such an uncreative thief. A lot more goes into the production of each comic then you might think.
Fabolous, just plain fabolous.Btw, maybe someone that meets someone from the other faction can think they are saying that because they don't understand whatever they are saying?
I can't get the "post" link to work on the blogger's web site :( So I'll post here.
Wow (no pun intended), some people need to get out of their mom's house and on with their life! It's a weak debate at best. His argument opens up a whole can of worms. Look at all the pop culture referenced content in WoW. I donât see them (Bliz) sharing the obscene coin they make off their MMORPG with Hollywood, a book author, or other games for that matter. Also, any money made by Cru is pocket lint in comparison. If he wants to be critical about something way more obvious and dubious - how 'bout talking about the gold selling venders link to organized crime and Asian slavery rings in America? How about all the private servers dipping into Bliz's pocket? Words like, GTFO and get a life come to mind and while I'm ranting, ol' Kevy H - take the retard sandwich out of your mouth before talking sh#$ about someone! Look at your own Blog title font! Arenât those pictures of copy righted material imbedded? Exploiting Batman? Hmmmâ¦
I'm no lawyer, but I don't see Blizzard having any issue with it seeing as you are positively supporting and generating interest in their product and in no ways stealing revenue from them. The process of posting and using screenshots from the actual game has long been established, all your doing is adding some dialogue boxes to make far more entertaining.
I read the guys article, I think he has no case really, you have the Copyright there, and afaik hosting a comic on a site with ads which make small revenue and making money off the comic proper are two different turkeys of copyright stuff
