Sorry the update took so long and it's another one of those pesky, text-heavy plot advancing pages. It's a major one that eludes toward two possible characters to join the Cru Party in the future. Who are they? Who is this woman appearing in Cru's dream? You're free to guess and postulate till your fingers bleed! I'll see you all next Monday and be sure to check out my blog Cru the Dwarf: The Inner Sanctum.
This page is dedicated to my grandmother Marilyn who passed away Tuesday afternoon. May she rest in peace.
Hooray for Cru the Dwarf on two million views! I just uploaded the fan thank-you page as the voter incentive for TopWebComics. Now go stare at it for a few hours to hold yourself over until I get this update done.
Because it seems like no one understands the hints for the first mystery man, I had to register just to point it out. It's Anduin Lothar, the Lion of Azeroth and last of the Arathi. As for the second, it could be either Uther or Turalyon. Or really any other paladin that was halfway important.
Tomorrow's big 2,000,000 views fan service is done and looking good. Actually we've overshot two million by 144,000 right now but I made up for it with an extra sexy voter incentive for Monday.
hmm, im gonna go with the popular Uther & Ashbringer for the 2 dudes, and the chick I'm gonna come outta left field and say a member of the Emerald Dragonflight; despite the bronze/goldish hue, he is dreaming after all...even if it is drug induced. ^^
Cru is starting to sound like a dungeon master sitting on a brilliant plot but the players just can't get in line and spend more time guessing the next bit than getting to it :P
If its any comfort I know aaaaaaaaall too well the feeling. But now I've exposed myself as a nerd who plays DnD and wow. Drat!
Yet another great comic..and as for who they are I'm thinking (as people already said) Anduin Lothar (lion of azeroth and last descendant of arathi)..and then..bit hazy but either Uther Lightbringer or Alexandros Mograine..aand as for the glowy belf gonna go with someone's earlier guess of Soridormi.
Oh god no, I'd never knowingly take other people's ideas or characters.
YOU SHUT UP, RICHARD!
But out of all the comments the 3 figures have been named correctly, just not all by one person.
Its ARthas and the guy out of Tales of the Past 3 who killed Arthas. ;D They have to fight again to kill a greater evil! (expect conflicts between arthas and the guy who killed arthas in tales of the past 3 )
Am I right cru? Those are these 2 right?!!ersediorf
Nah Cru the mystery, the suspense is have the fun. Kinda like when you first saw The Empire Strikes Back all those years ago. I was only a kid at the time but i remeber leaving the theatre going. "Is Vader really Luke's father?" Made you want to see the next movie to find out. :).
Keeping it in line with guessing around here. Im going to guess that its Soridormi, Nozdormu's prime mate. Colours would at any rate suggest a bronze dragon and since its a female it can't be Nozdormu himself.
And I for one don't know about TBC and the upcoming wotlk. I play to have fun in the end so this all works for me :)
Hope noone figured I was trolling or baiting people or nuffin, if that was what I was going for I'd say something along the lines that Red sox are the best or that Chelsea's going to win premier league this year :P But actually Im neutral in the matter if anyone's wondreing.
May I also say that I think its Bullshit that Icecrown Citadel is going to be a 10/25 man raid. I think to properly capture the true power of the Lich King it should be a 40 man ol'fashioned raid. Also, Frostmourne better be a goddamn legendary drop instead of just some quest item. That'll cheese my crackers but good.
Well, lessee if my lore skills are where they should be. First the glowy elf chick. Goldish color would signify the Brood of Nozdormu, so I'm gonna guess Soridormi (being she's in charge while big guns is missing). The "heart of a lion and blood of a lost people" is clearly Uther the Lightbringer. The other fellow, well, my only guess is that the "broken order" is a reference to the Scarlet Crusade or the Silver Hand (which goes without saying). The only person I can think of that could possibly aid in a fight against the Apocalypse would be Alexandros Mograine the Ashbringer. He was able to break free from the Lich King's control, and it also appears that the fellow in the comic with blue armor is bald (the character model for Mograine as a Horseman is bald and he did use to wear blue armor before the whole Death Knight thingy). I can't even begin to believe its Arthas, being the Lich King and all.

MURDERER! Oh, but it could be. It could be. Page 57 will be a few hours late but unless you're up any time before 6 AM you won't notice.
Mineral at 7:03PM, Oct. 12, 2008
I killed Uther in WC3 campaign. So it cant be him.
Xanael at 10:45AM, Oct. 12, 2008
And then I notice that someone else did say it. Oh the shame! Still, there's no love for Turalyon.

The ashbringer has been done so many times by so many people though. I can't see myself going with that but it might be mograine.

Do you REALLY want to know who the two men and the woman are or do you want to keep guessing?

Oh yeah, someone already guessed that. Pardon.

Everyone's guesses are so damn close but no one has nailed it directly on the head yet. You all need to combine your ideas and get into a focus group.
