I must say it seems a shame that so many people think that having a manga influence means being unoriginal, but having a heavy western or even a Disney-ish influence is being totally original. Not saying you fit this case however, I thought you had a pretty unique style even with the eastern influences and it's nice to see where you're taking it with the changes. However I can say I agree that being too close to any one style isn't as good as treading your own path, but I guess I don't like to see people forced to the other extreme because of other people's artistic biases.
