Jissai; as seventy2 said, Dien is a 'he'. I know, some of my friends say he looks a bit 'unisex', but I like him. (He'll eventually change over the comic I think..) Oh and why he doesn't have any pupils? Can't tell you that :-P
Seventy2; i know :( usually I manage to keep it between 1,5 and 2 weeks but this one was psycho. I'm glad you get it, because not everyone does.
