I saw Aragorn use this trick in one of the LOTR movies. Because I don't have any spare swords lying around I don't know how well it works, but it seems to fit pretty well.
Happy St. Patricks Day! Sorry, only one comic update this week. XP
Alrighty, reply time! ^^
Strongbad: Naaaahhh. Come to think of it, it was a dagger. Why can't I remember which movie it was???
Magical Misfits: Awwww YEAH!!
Hawk: Thanks! Brooke is pretty cool too. ^^
Joff: Yeah... he could do that... but Daisy's supposed to be behind some bushes or something... or on the other side of the park, hard to see. That's a good point though! It made me laugh!
Wazzy: Thanks!
Ian Jay: Have I ever mentioned how flattered I am that you read this comic? Your own always leave me laughing hysterically...
Anyway, thanks! Heeheeheeheehee! "Soup Ladle..." I think I'll make that entire comment a comic in the future. Thanks for explaining it to me!
Supposedly the metal would amplify any vibrations, but it would depend on the loam and consistency of the soil, as well as the location and proximity of the sound.
Still, it's probably best to do it with a sword. "By plunging into the earth a sword, or soup ladle, or piece of rebar, or whatever vaguely pointy metal thing you have just lying around" doesn't sound as majestic.
Oh yeah. Did I mention this was a great update?

I could have sworn that he held his head to the ground...you know, like the Indians used to do.
Another great comic, by the way! I just wish you'd update less sporadically. I thought drunk duck was lying to me when it said that you updated!

Hey, if sticking a sword in the ground magically makes Daisy bark, why fight it?
