The Landlady: Another Tenant
Cheeko on Jan. 16, 2007
Haha. I lied. I actually managed to make something work and put it together.
I did a lot of experimenting on this page. Instead of doing any shading on the computer I played around a little bit with my pencil, and even added a few backgrounds without inking them. I'm not sure if I like the end result (the shading doesn't show up too well on the computer). I also wanted to see how DMR would look with typed word balloons instead of my messy scrawlings all over it. I'm not sure I like it that much either; you don't really know how much room you have until you're entirely done with it, and it's too late to move anything around like it is when everything is still in the pencilling stage. I think I'll stick with my scrawlings.
I don't think the joke is that good, either. I don't even know that much about D&D or plumbing, so if this comic is totally wrong, you have my apologies.
By the way, the term “geek out” comes to you courtesy of KJanuary and many long hours of Instant Messaging. :)
IN OTHER NEWS!
BlackDove, a newcomer to the DrunkDuck community, has started a comic called Zelda Fantasy Wars, featuring myself, JillyFoo, and BlackDove in the battle of the ages: The Supremacy of One. Which will emerge triumphant? The Legend of Zelda (Me)? Final Fantasy (JillyFoo)? Or Star Wars (BlackDove)? It looks like it's off to a good start… BD has taken some very unique spins on each of our character designs and her own character's looks are very interesing. Maybe Jilly and I will even add a few comics along the way.
Enter the Battle!
My art class got cancelled! I'm not going to do homework and instead watch the FMA movie. Yay for slacking!

Heh, geek out. I love Gus already. So much so that you should check your mail.

... For some reason, this Gus guy reminds me of myself. ^_^ Although, I'm not really into D&D that much. :P

Wow... So yeah, an Elvin Ranger would not be a bad character choice. And, I would totaly be in Gus's place. I found it very funny. And Yes, Ganon always lives... somehow.

Actually, no, I liked the joke. And the text on Gus' shirt front. Not a Zelda geek, are we, Cheeko? *rolls eyes* ^-^ The text was very clearly readable this time. Just thought I'd let you know. *nods*
