I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving yesterday. The whole family gathered at my brother's house for a wonderful turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Now the rush is on for Christmas. I am staying away from the shopping malls today. The crowds are a bit much for me to take.

I believe most people harbor a "hidden evil." I mean, who doesn't have thoughts of murder and mayhem? And of course we hide it away - that's the only thing that keeps the men in white coats from toting us off with their butterfly nets (and WHERE did THAT stereotype COME FROM, anyway? I highly doubt that at ANY TIME loony bin employees captured patients using butterfly nets ...). The trick is to keep those temptations at bay, and to do one's best to try to treat others well, which is how we want to be treated, of course. Naturally it doesn't necessarily work, 'cause of course everyone else and the entire world seems to be playing a game of "kick the Katy" right now, but ... *shrug* Whatcagonnado, right? And on that note, we cue the pity party *starts the violin wailing a mournful note* OK, enough of that. I'm'a gonna take a nap. See ya later alligator!
