No, Alex g - if you read the original Dracula by Bram Stoker, you will see that Dracula can and DOES go out by day - he is just severely weakened by the sun. Read the book! It's one of only two books I've ever read that gave me nightmares ... Also, Luvglen - who on earth are you TALKING to??? This is a GREAT page! Lots of disclosures. Sounds like Danielle has been hit with a double-shot; this is probably why she always has to fight her dark side during the night-time hours. But since she DOES fight them, that makes her fit the bill for the 2nd half of the prophecy. Great page, again!!

Ok, I see. But I believe the sunlight thing was created by Bram Stoker long before Hollywood came along.

I have departed from the traditional vampire lore in that the vampires in this comic are not bothered by sunlight, holy water or crosses. The sunlight thing was introduced by Hollywood, anyway. However, in Danielle's world, most vampires lose their supernatural powers during the day.

As long as the knife pierces the heart and is left there until the vampire bleeds out, yes. Decapitation and burning will also do the job. Of course, the tried and true method of the wooden stake works,too.
