I wouldn't say she looks "calm" in the last panels of the strip - I would say she looks "emotionless." In many of the thrillers and police procedural-type fiction books I read, it is described as going into a "still quiet place within yourself" when you prepare to shoot someone; the only way to stop yourself from screaming and not doing it, I guess. What I'm having trouble seeing is this: is that the same guy, only his hair looks lighter because of the lighting, or are there two separate guys who happen to have very similar noses; one with dark hair and one with slightly lighter? And where did their lovely ski masks go? Heh. Looking closely at that first guy she knocked up-side the head, I think I see fangs - vampire? And the 2nd guy, sitting on the ground, has those funky cat-eyes - demon. Unless they're the same person, in which case I must be seeing things, 'cause in the 2nd to last panel there are no fangs ... ARGH!! ;-) Bad enough I hear voices and music when the air conditioner runs ...

I want to thank everyone for their comments. I'm glad people like this page. I lost track of how many times I drew some of the panels before I got to this point. It was important to show how ruthless Danielle can be when she goes into full throttle vampire mode.
