Product Placement: In this world turning requires a vampire to bite the individual, and then make the victim drink some of the vampire's blood. From that point, the turning can take several days with the victim becoming ill and getting progressively worse until they "die." The risk is that in becoming so ill, some people don't survive the process and actually do die before the turning is complete. With that in mind, most vampires are reluctant to turn anyone. Danielle has never forgotten how awful the ordeal of turning was for her.

Well at least she's not one of those vampires who spends forever and a day angsting over the fact that she has to drink human blood like that wussy hybrid in underworld. I really like your characterization of Danielle. She's a cool vampire and her adventures (no matter how typical) are interesting to read. Keep up the good work!
