Happy Friday, everybody. I really tried to have a page done but I guess I got over ambitious. The page has turned out to be more time-intensive than I thought. With that said, here is a filler that sums up how I feel about daylight savings time. Danielle and I had just gotten used to the idea of the sun rising as the work day started. Now I am back to driving to work in the dark again.

I've always hated DST, and when Bush extended it for no reason in 2007 (to "improve trade with other nations" he said, but the only other nation that went along with it was Canada, because they had no choice), I refused to conform; I still spring forward in April and fall back in October like we used to . . . but I am NOT going to go along with permanent, year-round DST if that's what it actually comes to.

They're talking about sticking to Daylight savings all year round up here. I'm looking forward to NOT changing clock times.

At our place, DST will set in on the 31st of March and I'm not looking forward to it at all. With some luck it may be the last time we have to adjust the clocks, though. I for one won't miss it a bit - it's been the worst invention since that of the clock itself, if you ask me.
