Happy Saturday, everybody.

I apologize for this page being a day late. Summertime is upon us and I have lots of activities with family and around the yard to occupy a good portion of my time. For the next few pages, I am going to have to revert to the one-page-every-two-weeks schedule I’ve had in the past. The up-coming pages are going to have some very involved artwork necessary to tell the story.

Night is falling on the Hansen farm, and it’s getting dark. That’s when Danielle is at her best.

Summer is always a busy time. Between family events, household repairs and yard work, it is difficult to have time for the comic. I usually wind up working late in the evening on it but I'm sure I'm not alone. I'm really liking the story line in Blood Bound. Lots of revenge. :)

Everything that ever happens happens in mid or late June, all at once. At least that's the way it feels for me at the moment, and it seems you can relate. (And don'tcha mention December ;) ) Love this page. Dani has a rare chance to act out the motherly side of her personality, and I can tell she's planning to enjoy every second of it.

You can say that again. Today I have to replace some fluorescent light fixtures in the kitchen. My dad always said if you have a house, you have a hobby. Whether you want it or not. Dani. truly loves Lizzy but one has to wonder what sort of bedtime story she will read.

If you want to see Danielle's inner mama bear come out, threaten this girl, as we have seen. Do that after the sun has set, and you probably won't live long enough to recognize that you screwed up bad.

The classic expression, "Mr. McGee, don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry." applies in this situation, except she does not have to turn green to be truly dangerous.

I once saw a sign on a large factory machine that read "Warning. This machine can kill you and it will hurt a lot while you die." That pretty much sums up Danielle when she's angry.
