Yes! The Duck is back and I didn't expect it to be, so I am most ecstatic. However, I've got about 100 comics from last year that already saw the light of day on the last incarnation of Duck and I'm not up to posting them all here again. If you'd like to see those, they're in the archive at http://www.detectivefork.com . I've begun posting comics on here with “Floridian Fumes,” a story that is actually a pretty good jumping on point.

I'm not sure what to do with the short comics because I don't want to mix the stories. I wanted to post the short ones within the comments sections of the longer comments but bbcode for adding images isn't working.

This is like a homecoming. Or a class reunion! Vino, thanks for the awesome review. I'm glad Fork seems tougher because I'm really trying to get that across more. IMHO, though, he showed that side a bit when he shot the rope from over his shoulder in the last story and then, with one helluva evil look on his face, took out an evil monk with a cross he grabbed from the church wall. :-) Randal, Fork was born in 1908. The comic takes place in 1938, although I don't go out of my way to make it look 100 percent authentic to the times. In fact, I try not to, going for more of a futuristic look as envisioned by people of the past. And I mix up things from the first half of the 20th century, such as 50s biker gangs and nazis. :) Another thing; I've finally decided where Silver City is located. It's not the same Silver City as the one in New Mexico or the one in South Dakota. It was originally supposed to be the New York City of Forkworld but with other real world locations being paralleled in Forkworld, I decided that New York City must exist there, too. If you look closely at Fork's ID, it shows Silver City as being in my home state of NJ. Had to do it 'cos Jersey rules! In Forkworld, Silver City has replaced a much less important place from the real world - Jersey City.

I'm really enjoying Floridian Fumes and it is a great starting point. For the first time, Fork seems truly TOUGH, and it has great background information. Plus your artwork is some of the best you've done..clean, clear, and under control! I'm really going to try to not give 5's to everyone this time, however, for overall story so far of Floridian Fumes I gotta give a shout out...and finally, Detective Fork can now make his cameo in DivaPetz...better get started!

I'm going to read Fork in a second and leave another comment..but isn't WONDERFUL to have DrunkDuck Back (you know how much I hated the alternative sites)...pathetic me didn't even continue to draw for Stiletto or Diva Petz because I was so depressed about DD being gone..but I'm suddenly rejuvinated to do my best work yet!!! And here I am writing you as I'm staring at Pinky's Beautiful face by one of my favorite artists OzoneOcean...I'm in heaven!! Please Please Please help me make an avatar of the stiletto shoe on my cover.
