You've presented me with some good options and the one I like the best is so simple, I don't know why I didn't think of it: Post the short comics as a separate account. Done and done. :-)
Those gas mask designs look devilish! Hmm, the trouble with short fork comics...
The way I see it, you have one simple soloution to that problem (with DD as it is now):
1)Start a third comic especially for short fork comics strips.
2)work on the HTML template for this comic and the others, add HTML LINKS to your other comics, specifically the "short fork" one.
3)Whenever there's an update on your "short fork" comic, simply say so inside the comment space on this, the main "Detective Fork" page.
