Cutter Grand

Okay, someone tell me who the hell this is?
Ever since I made him up I have always thought he looked really familiar. Like a repressed cartoon character from my childhood. Has that ever happened to anyone else? :P Though when I was drawing him for this picture I thought his head looked like Optimus Prime's a bit.
Cutter was pretty cool too. I didn't realize how much I would like him till later as I made the comic. By the time I got to his final fight with Power Grand I was really loving him. He definitely went out with a bang too.
I actually just happened to randomly give him telekinesis and Power Grand got his ability like right when I was going to finally draw him in. Their abilities really worked well against each other. It was like they were made to be the perfect opposing forces.
But like the other 5 chosen grands, by the time issue 5 came around it was time to write them out of the story. And characters usually don't get wrote out well in my world.
The Cutter/Power fight really helped me get better at my explosions, energy and special effects and is still one of my favorite parts of the Prologue.
Well, now I got 3 chosen Predator Grands to post up and I can go back to adding people! yay!!!

{quote]He must be the culmination of ALL the shows you watched as a kid. Yes, that's it. XD
Of course! It all makes so much sense now!!! He does look like a lot of things thrown together o_O
You know, it's your characters own faults for making you kill them. If they would be happy to go into retirement or find some other nice way to leave your story, you wouldn't have to slice and explode them so much.
I was going to say "they could just let the bad guys win" but I seem to be an equal opportunity Grim Reaper and bring death to the good AND bad!

He must be the culmination of ALL the shows you watched as a kid. Yes, that's it. XD You know, it's your characters own faults for making you kill them. If they would be happy to go into retirement or find some other nice way to leave your story, you wouldn't have to slice and explode them so much. This one's death was especially nasty, imo. Sucks to be in pieces and still living for a while. Better to just get a bullet in the brain. (You'd think with all their futuristic technology, they could have even cleaner and quicker deaths if they wanted -- not that they want that...)
