Pulna Grand
JustNoPoint on March 19, 2009
Pulna Grand is without a doubt one of THE hardest characters for me to draw in my comic. I used a method for this picture inspired after I saw how Ed Bang sketches his work. Using nothing but blocks to construct him.
Too bad I didn't have that method back when he was a regular in the comic.
Pulna was the 1st chosen pred I made. The name? Random… I knew it needed a “P” in the front :P
In my comics I tried to depict him as a very mobile living tank (which is why drawing him as a tank helps I guess)
Though if you are reading this I'll give a small hint for later…
You never actually SEE Pulna Grand get blown up. And he has a really handy ability…
shhhh don't tell the people that never check the profiles page! They can come here and put the puzzle together themselves XD
Probably won't be another profile up till next Tuesday or Wednesday. Work weekend coming up. Next character will be Phern Grand.

Biologists have different criteria for "cute." ~_^

That would be like having a horse dog as a pet!!! One with 2 heads. You thinking this thing is cute officially has me worried Vickie XD I never saw Galaxy Quest sadly. Most names I come up with are random. Like Fenny, just a random thought from I have no idea where.

I want one of those as a pet! Er... Maybe not, but he would make a heck of a guard dog wouldn't he? I can't help it. Non-humanoid faces are too cute (most of the time). Pretty cool that you built him out of blocks! Legos! Your description makes me think of that rock monster in the Galaxy Quest movie. After it gets ejected into space, it's just hanging out there. I like to think it eventually got pulled into a planet's orbit and is now a living moon. (Maybe Pulna can find him and have a big indestructible monster tea party.) I have literally closed my eyes and pointed at a phone book.
