I remember this page being real pain in the ass when I was coloring it :)
The two-color rain was achieved by copying the inks, making them white, and then shifting them a little bit. Sound simple, but since I used the scanned artwork in Multiply mode, I couldn't just color the blacks white as it would make them transparent… had to struggle with color range. Eh, the result is okay I guess. On the last panel I was thinking about shifting to solid colors, but opted not to (thus the delicate texture created with one of my custom brushes).
Oh yeah, fourth panel came out crappy, hard to tell that it's supposed to be him digging out from under all the mud.
Next page: March 31st.

responding to previous page comment... parkbenchbook: I have already tried digital "inking" for couple of pages and it doesn't work that great. Simply drawing on top of the image sucks cause it's difficult to draw exactly on the lines, also if I draw slow lines are wavy and if fast they end up "blocky" (not enough cpu power I guess or) so right now I'm experimenting with coloring directly on pencils (results of both experiments will be seen on pages starting from 33 to whenever/if I decide to return to normal inking).
