Yeah, here's where I have to say that you don't know how you'd react to a situation until you encounter it. There's three major problems with Rachel's answer here. One, the human scent can be washed off and replaced with a then-natural dragon scent, since it's not just a projected disguise like the Ambis have. Two, the whole "kill or imprison" thing is because the cave dragons fear what would happen if humans found out about them. This fear would be harder to justify if the humans were dragons. Three, if an ex-human were to be under threat of capture, they'd still have a dragon's strength, claws, and teeth. It wouldn't be an easy capture or kill, and the humans would come in larger numbers once one of their own went missing. Soon, you'd have exactly the scenario that the cave dragons fear, and the cave dragons are smart enough to know this. So no, I don't believe what Rachel's saying here.
