The last year we've been treated a mystery, a Poe-ish reimagining involving the death of a lost love, the discovery the lost love is still alive, and a reunion.
SkyAngel definitely has the “plot development” criteria down. This English soap opera with Gothic undertones sucked me straight in, and every page teases into the next.
Thanks for this guys. We've been given enough awards over the past 10 years to know that we were doing something right with our comic but being as this last chapter has been so much different and more convoluted than the previous chapters I've often doubted as to whether it was the right thing to do despite how excited I felt about it when the story first unravelled in my mind. So for me, this year, this one particular award is the one that truly means the most and I'm happy to see any of these other wonderful comics on here get the rest.
