As for Heaven Hunters, this creator not only knows how to put together a range of varied and effective layouts, but also when and how to use them to best advance the story.
It seems to me HH makes stronger use of changing up from your more standard rectangular panels for calmer scenes and saves the more visually striking layouts for action and dramatic scenes., Therefore serving the story telling well.
