I am very proud to present this page to you today! It's the page that almost got delayed by a lot! I spent last Tuesday through Friday in the hospital with a painful stomach condition (may have been a virus, may have been something else). I'll spare you the details but I can say that my wife was with me throughout the whole experience and I am immensely grateful for her. Some of you knew and offered prayers, good thoughts and well-wishes, and for that, I am also very grateful. I am home and recuperating. I had done initial pencils for this page and have been determined to crank it out. Had it required inking and coloring, we'd have probably been looking at Friday…

About the page: Brielle makes her feelings perfectly clear to Sapphira. It's meant to hurt her and it does. As you may have noticed, this book is mainly from Brielle's perspective, so we won't see right now how Phira reacts immediately after the phone call. But you can see some fallout from Book One Page 6, when Doug and Phira returned from Canada. Now it makes more sense, doesn't it? And this makes Brielle's behavior stand out considerably in contrast to her ever-vigilant support of her friend, Carolyn, doesn't it?
