I don't think I made it apparent enough but Lorne “changes” appearance as he grows angry. You might also notice the colors change a bit. Basically, anything that deals with monsters uses bright, saturated colors (ironic because monsters are supposed to be ugly and scary) while humans don more earthy browns and unsaturated color schemes.
Eh, only 3 more months of deployment left. Once I'm back home I'll have 10x more time to devote to this.

That's an interesting concept - since it's a comic focussing on the monster's point of view, monsters are made to look more interesting, and people are rather bland. Also, thanks for enlightening me on the different levels of humans and monsters in the game. Also, it took me a bit to figure out the thing on Gurn's stomach is a plaster.

What a great mix of D&D-style storytelling and humor! See, I never could get into the rpg or rpg related stuff, but this keeps me coming back. 'Da Manual': really funny stuff!
