#004: Sprite Comics
YourNobody on July 10, 2007
I just to say this now, so no one gets confused or asks: everything in this comic really is made from scratch in Photoshop. These aren't rips from Paper Mario for the Nintendo 64 or the GameCube. If you really think so, I'm flattered, but you're wrong.
The difference between sprite comics and copy-and-paste comics is huge. Comics, like mine, have hours upon hours, of effort and sweat in them. It took me about four hours to make Mario and about two hours to make Toad. I didn't go to a web site and click download.
While there are good sprite comics out there, they're rare. And I love sprite comics, I do, when they're actually well-made, they're awesome.

I'm not sure where I stand as a spriter but I think I do fair without boosting.

Is this a threat or a complaint to us spriters?

This is a good comic, and I hope my Sprite comic can live up to your expectations, soon as I get rid of the Recolors.

I wish I had your skills man. All I can do is make sprite comics, people seem to like them though.
