41: Get A Grip

If David knew the real reason for Emily's disappearance that night, he might feel even more guilt than he already does. If he disacovered the voices weren't just in her head and her ‘imaginary’ demon had carried away her lifeless body, he might just be crying into his cornflakes every morning.
Thanks for reading. Other breakfast cereals are available.

Shout factory called. They want to make a movie.

Be fun to see who they cast, but I know what the music needs to be and apparently, they already own Herb Alpert's Tijuana Brass.

And how does he know so much about the details of the crime? Okay, her blood—but it could have been Jack the Ripper.

The idea is we see what happened, but the captions are meant to show what he knows - essentially nothing after she leaves his side. I may not have communicated that very well, but hopefully all will become clear later on.

Fortunately she was bandaged already so she didn't lose as much blood as she might have. Besides demons don't want living people dead. They want them miserable and tortured.

Good point, perhaps she survived and is being horribly tortured as we speak. If so, there won't be enough cornflakes on Earth to soak up David's tears of regret. He may have to switch to porridge.

And it turned out she WAS being stalked by an evil demon. Well I never. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

On the plus side, he seems to be working diligently on his fireman's lift technique, so maybe not all bad?

Much appreciated, the last two panels went through a few changes before settling on this!
