A few moments from Lydia's past. It was really hard to decide what to include here - so many options. I might use some that didn't make the cut later on.
I'm always forgetting to bookmark my pages so I've just spent ten minutes skipping through your lovely artwork until I finally reached a page I don't recognise - which is this one! And what a great page too!
Thank you! It was tricky to decide which scenes to include on this page and I discarded a few, which is one reason why this took longer than it should have.
It does too - cool animated intro! I don't think we ever got that show over here. The Virginian and The High Chaparral are the ones I remember best. The panel is most likely inspired by memories of Sergio Leone movies.
That's a gunfight advantage she probably kept to herself! She was wearing Jimi's hat during the song and trust my luck, I just happened to draw the exact moment she took it off.
Tried her hand at the arts -- that's a good one. And is that one of the Bronte sisters? Always figured they knew more than they let on about the supernatural. They just didn't want to be dumped in with the writers of "penny dreadfuls" like Vlarny the Vampyre.
Vlarny the Vampyre sounds like it might be required reading. That's actually Mary Wollestonecraft Shelley, outside the Villa Deodato, where Frankenstein was conceived.
I expect Lydia would have roamed the windy moors with Emily Bronte on at least one occasion though.
Come to think of it, there are still questions surrounding Jimi's demise. The original doctor at the scene reported huge quantities of 'red wine', which was subsequently nowhere to be seen. Hmmmmmm...

Great page. Panel three reminds me of the intro to the Wild Wild West with Robert Conrad and Ross Martin.

Old west gun fight. Did she tell her opponent that he should use Wooden Bullets? So she was a muse for Hendrix. Bad Hat you're in the wrong place.

Incredible page! Dabbled in the arts...draw...love it, haha. Good luck in the Awards!

Thanks Banes, a bad pun was what this comic needed I thought! Good luck to you too, especially for best overall strip.

Do I see little Gil Kane in panel 4?

Without a doubt! An early influence for dynamic shots and pen style.

I think you've hit the mark. Mary definitely didn't need any help with her tale!

Even better! A real vampire definitely would have helped Polidori write his vampire story which was conceived at the same time.

Thank you! It was a tricky one to do so it's good to hear it came across the way I intended.

"Come on, Daniel, Jimi didn't become her dinner, so yo won't, too - Or maybe, in the end, he was?"
