Personally, I take the comment "I let the fight between him and Heroes Unite play out exactly as it would" to be Word of Author not just Nemesis's opinion...
Braindonor:
Yes Misty is really dead. Everything is real up until the point that Energize faced Nemesis for the first time in this issue. The fight with the HU was the imaginery stuff.
@Phantom64:
Thanks for the comments - they are much appreciated. There are actually 7 parts to this story in total (so 5 to go after this) but you won't have to wait too long before people start finding out what Nemesis is really about...
Woo! finally finished it start to finish.
I have to say you probably have the most drama-heavy superhero webcomic on here (of the one's I've read). Most are rather comedic or light-hearted, at this point I'm surprised Energize hasn't become a bitter man who doesn't give a damn anymore or a full blown psychopath.
I mean Energize was framed, his powers hijacked, hated by the people he protected, and made into an alien terror...all by the second issue of this. And it seems like no matter what he does, who he saves, he will always be treated like a criminal and an outcast.
I'm glad Cheggins is finally owning up to what he did, (even if he's just trying to get out of punishment and its a ploy by HU to coax Energize out of fighting them) but still the fact that Captain Sociopath (Nemisis) killed Misty and is still acting like a gentle lamb is really pissing me off. I will admit his was a nice twist but since his big outburst was moot and we'll have to endure probably several more chapters of Nemesis and his rage-inducing fake gentle doe persona, I just hope he's taken out HARD. If there's one thing I hate the most its Kharma Houdinis.
Still, my persnal feelings aside this is a really good series and can't wait to see what happens next.
So he DIDN'T really take out Legend, throw Titan far away, etc.? Wow. Nice power. Psychic rather than physical. Didn't expect that (but of course, we've never seen Nemesis in action before). --Al
O_o .... ah..... uh...... I did NOT see that one coming.... at all... If there was a rating higher than 5 that you could only give out so often you would get it on this comic

So, did Nemesis REALLY kill Misty? If she's really dead.

Good twist. Darn psychics.
Hyp3rB14d3 at 3:47PM, Jan. 28, 2011
Wait, all of Energize's costume was a projection of his powers except his shoes?
Hyp3rB14d3 at 2:09AM, Jan. 28, 2011
Huh. Well, that explains Nemesis's rampant act of stupidity in the previous page. It doesn't matter because none of that was real.
