Day late this week folks. Yesterday was pretty rough as far as deadlines. Had to do polishes on two episodes of an animated series that I'm working on which took forever. Anyway here she be, another gem by mister Schlotterback.
For those of you who don't read SuperFogeys as well, all zero of you I wanted to let you know that the second collected edition is available on our website. Additionally a errant version of the Eskimo Dave poster is up on there along with lots of other goodies for sale too. Check it out at
Thanks to all who checked out the comic!
and special thanks to all you who appreciate my style. it truly means a lot to me and motivates me to no end.
Keep us in your faves and keep coming back for more Eskimo D!
Thanks again guys. It's funny when you look at the stats for the last two days as compared to the previous year. Everything else is barely a blip compared to this.
Thanks for the kind words, DanTheMan! Sorry for responding so slowly. I forget to check the comments (i'm still new at this).
I love your comic very much and added it to my favorites. keep those coming!
Thanks again, Julio!
I sketch it out by hand w/ pencil and paper. I then scan it into Photoshop which i then trasfer to Illustrator and draw/ink it in Illustrator. I created my own brushes, so it does what i want and goes pretty quickly.
believe it or not, the sketching takes the longest and tends to be the most aggravating!
i never realized there could be millions of dollars involved.....hmm....
Thanks for the kudos!!
Nice David! What's your technique: Part is done by hand, scan it and the rest in the computer? Or do you draw directly to the computer using a tablet and then use Illustrator or similar to finish? Are you using Flash at all? You could be doing cartoons for TV and make millions man!

He draws it by hand with pencil and then inks it digitally in a vector program, I assume Illustrator. He is really talented at it no doubt.
ghostrunner at 10:05PM, Jan. 17, 2008
that is way too smooth for casual scanning
